Sewing / Cutting

Si's connection to Grease Point goes back much further than his employment. His dad bought one of my early pairs of Work Jeans in 2013, and still wears them today, so hiring Si a decade later was a real full circle moment.

He joined us after working for another local clothing manufacturer, where he specialized in cutting. He wanted to expand his sewing skills, and everyone in the shop knew after his interview that he'd fit right in. Today he runs our cutting table, is an excellent sewer, and contributes regularly to improving both our products and our production process.

Si will have a meaningful conversation with you when you need it, and hit you with a good zinger when you need a laugh. Outside of work he designs and makes his own clothes, skateboards, organizes neighborhood baseball games, and is a seriously good magician (but don’t bother asking him about it unless he’s had a few drinks).
